Talk about a classic.
Michael Jackson... yeah.. I'd really like to write a million words, but nothing that I'd jot down would come even close to doing this man the right he deserves.
He touched, moved, brightened, enlightened, brought joy, tears, moved hips and stirred souls, all through his ground-breaking music.
King of pop. Well, let's just say that sounds like someone that might be fun and educational to learn from! Right?
'Man in the mirror', a killer track from one of his best albums ever, 'Bad', features signature keyboard parts that anyone will recognise and truly amazing bass lines (also: played on a synthesiser; actually, in my opinion it's one of the best 'bass synth'-tracks in the history of music) which I will all show you, exemplifying on piano like you're used to, of course. I'll also be throwing in some of my own flavour, combining it all into a unique piano part (wanna learn how to do this yourself: maybe consider really diving into Pop-Piano by going for the brand new 'Hack the Piano'?).
Have fun learning this awesome song and please don't hesitate to share / like or leave a comment with any remarks or questions that might come to mind!
Cheers, Coen.
Love the way you play. Zou graag enkele privé-lessen volgen...
Hi Phillip, thanks for your comment! Private lessons are currently unavailable unfortunately. I'm completely booked. I hope the online environment will give you sufficient help in the meantime. Cheers.
